This product is an "open ticket" concept SIM card where you don't need to pre-select the country or duration of use at the time of purchase. It offers the advantage of flexible response to unexpected changes in travel plans without additional costs.

It's easy to use. After purchasing the SIM card, when you need to use it, scan the QR code printed on the back of the card, select and pay for the desired country, duration, and data usage, and it will be activated. You can use data stably in over 40 countries worldwide, including Japan, Europe, and the US, and the SIM card purchase price is 3,000 won.

GS25 has planned this product to provide overseas travelers with a reasonable and convenient overseas communication service during the summer vacation season. They expect this product, which boasts both price competitiveness and ease of purchase, to set a new standard for convenience store telecommunications services.

First, price competitiveness has been enhanced to reduce the burden of communication costs, which are an essential expense for overseas travel in a high-price environment. By partnering with leading global roaming networks, it can be used at a rate up to 80% cheaper than roaming prices for the same period. Additionally, the data range is diverse, from a minimum of 1GB to unlimited, allowing you to choose the most suitable and affordable plan based on your individual data usage.

Furthermore, the hassle of ordering overseas prepaid SIM cards online and waiting for delivery by courier or at the airport for at least 1-2 days has been eliminated, as you can now purchase them at convenience stores near your home, increasing accessibility and convenience for travelers. This method is particularly helpful when you unexpectedly need to prepare for overseas travel.

In fact, GS25 conducted a pilot sale for one month in June at three Incheon Airport stores, and the sales results showed that the midnight/dawn time slot (10 pm to 6 am) accounted for the highest sales proportion at 38.1%. GS25 analyzes that this was a big hit with "night owl" travelers who were unable to purchase SIM cards or were in a hurry to leave the country.
